This Privacy Policy explains what information OctAds, operated by Murilo Oliveira Sousa ("OctAds," "we," "us"), collects through octadsagency.com and our advertising campaigns, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who We Are

OctAds is a digital marketing agency that helps local service businesses in the United States — cleaning, construction, roofing, HVAC, and home care companies — get more customers through Google Business Profile management, paid advertising, and related marketing services.

This policy applies to octadsagency.com and to the lead forms we run on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of our own business. It does not apply to the individual client websites or ad accounts we manage for our customers.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you submit directly. When you fill out a contact form, book a call, or respond to one of our Meta Lead Ads, we collect what you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, business name, and any details you add about your marketing needs.
Information collected automatically. When you visit octadsagency.com, we (and the Meta Pixel embedded on the site) automatically receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and interactions with our ads.
Information from payments. If you become a client and pay for services, our payment processor (Stripe) collects billing details necessary to process the transaction. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

How We Use It

Respond to inquiries and schedule calls with prospective clients;
Deliver and manage marketing services for active clients;
Measure and improve the performance of our own advertising campaigns, including through Meta's conversion tracking;
Send service-related communications by email, SMS, or WhatsApp; and
Process payments and maintain business and tax records.

We do not use the information we collect to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on the following processors to run our business. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

Meta Pixel (Facebook & Instagram)

Measures ad performance and lets us build audiences from site visitors and Lead Ads submissions. Also governed by Meta's own data policy.

GoHighLevel (CRM)

Stores lead and client contact records and powers our follow-up messages by email, SMS, and WhatsApp.

Stripe (Payments)

Processes card and bank payments for our services. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant; we never see full payment card numbers.

Google Ads

May place conversion-tracking cookies when you arrive at our site from a Google ad.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags) to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may limit some site functionality and reduce the relevance of ads you see from us.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

The service providers listed above, to the extent needed for them to perform their function;
Professional advisors (such as accountants) bound by confidentiality obligations; and
Authorities, where required to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights.

Retention

We keep lead and client contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations, and then delete or anonymize it. Ad measurement data retained by Meta and Google follows those platforms' own retention windows.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
Ask us to correct or delete it;
Opt out of marketing messages at any time (reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email); and
If you are a California resident, exercise the rights described under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including relying on processors (Stripe, GoHighLevel) that maintain their own security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at business owners and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
